Replaced a 19" Sanyo we had in our bedroom for 6-7 years with this Phillips 22". At the price we paid, we couldn't be happier. Very clear picture allows you to set coloration, tint and so forth manually, even has an equalizer for the sound. It's better than I expected.

I bought this television just recently.
I had it wall mounted in my bedroom just for watching tv here and there.
The picture quality is fantastic; better than I expected.
The sound is very good too for being a flat-paneled tv.
Philips has always made good products, and this just deepens that logic.

This Philips tv is perfect for the bedroom. Not too big and not too small. Set up in less than 10 minutes with adding a flat antenna for the digital signals and have my Philips DVD Player hooked up to it also. The sound wasn't that great so I bought a set of speakers for 25 bucks and the sound is now perfect. They are 20w and plug right into the earphone jack. Speakers and sub were off brand names but it does the trick so why spend extra for a name?. Anyone in need of a bedroom TV should get one like this--you won't be disappointed. So, yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This is a great TV. Wonderful picture, great sound, easy to use and one of the best but last TVs from Philips. Works wonderfully as a computer monitor and doubles as a great security monitor and/or TV. Light weight but, top quality construction. An amazing deal at this price.
